Title: Birthright citizenship Post by WebsterMark on 11/08/24 at 03:44:58 The other thing I’ve heard Trump talk about his birthright citizenship. I can’t imagine it was ever smart to think that just because you were born here on US soil you’re automatically a US citizen. I don’t believe that was the intent of the original 14th amendment or the laws previous to that. My project this weekend since it’s going to rain heavily here in around St. Louis, just to read up on this. From what I read, the President can just simply do away with it, stop recognizing and granting citizenship, because you were born here, but without some ties to the country. Seems like that would be the first thing I would do, do away with this concept of birthright citizenship. |
Title: Re: Birthright citizenship Post by zevenenergie on 11/08/24 at 05:09:46 We have the problem here that landlords are not allowed to evict families with children under 18. That is of course a good thing. But the situation is that in social housing for older people, where you are only allowed to live if you are over 60. An elderly immigrant moves in and then the whole family comes over with a child under 18. That way the whole family cannot be evicted. And there are suddenly 20 or more people in a house with only 1 bedroom. Those people all receive free living expenses from the government. Because they live here legally in a house. If you as a municipality have a budget to provide 100 elderly immigrants with an income and a house. And you are suddenly required by law to provide 2000 immigrants with a livelihood, then that is a problem. If you do not adapt laws to new situations, you run into enormous problems without being able to do anything about it. |
Title: Re: Birthright citizenship Post by MnSpring on 11/08/24 at 06:38:25 So women, who are days, or hours away from birth. SNEAK into this Nation, have a baby. That Baby is now a US Citizen, and the mother is allowed to stay in the US for 18 Years to care for the baby. Some come in, pregnant, months away from birth, with a Visa, give birth, than are also allowed to live here, for 18 years. Most NEVER, even think about, studying and taking the test to become a Citizen. So interesting that a policy, begun in Colonial times, which cost taxpayers Billons, is so Sacrosanct. Yet another policy, to defend ones self, is eroded day by day. |

Title: Re: Birthright citizenship Post by zevenenergie on 11/08/24 at 10:36:27 It's just a hobby some guys have here. Football is not just a game here. Supporters are sometimes prepared to die for their club and their club is a kind of religion. They live for their club. Now it was Ajax vs Maccabi And I think the Israelis (Jews) were not that well informed about our football culture. At the end of the match the clubs are never allowed to leave the stadium at the same time, because then it is literally war. Only when all the supporters of one club have left, the other is allowed to leave the stadium. If you are tired of life, you hang around for a while until the second club comes out. So what happened is quite normal here. I have experienced it many times, it is tough but it does not get worse than a few broken ribs or a loose tooth. If you are chased and thrown into a canal, we laugh about it. But there is a difference since the war in Gaza. There are many Moroccans and Palestinians living here and certainly since the genocide in Gaza they have become more irritable. And among them there are also many Ajax fans. Amsterdam is known as a city with a rich Jewish history, and it has had a large Jewish community for a long time. Because of this Amsterdam was sometimes called "Mokum", derived from the Yiddish word for "city". Because Ajax is a club from Amsterdam, an association began to arise between Ajax and the Jewish community, although the club itself was not or is not specifically Jewish. Now since the war in Gaza no one wants to be affiliated with Jews anymore. Everyone with a little bit of social feeling in the Netherlands disapproves of what is happening in Gaza. This incident is being made a big deal of in the media. But it actually shows how bad it is what is happening in the Middle East. What happened after the match is something we do disapprove of here in the Netherlands, but it is simply part of our culture. I don't know anything else than that it has always been like this. We also understand here that it is especially now that it evokes a lot in the world. But the competitions here are truly a special phenomenon that you have to have experienced to understand it. A thrill that is comparable to drag racing or bull fighting but squared. This is a normal preparation for the competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hJCbFSrmzU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km0NPX9VTDg And that is after yesterday's outcome. Also very normal and even a bit quiet. (There were only 10 wounded). That is peanuts. Usually it goes like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhV3Gi7wwfo |

The reason I posted this is because there is no birthright citizenship. If mom is Not Subject to the Jurisdiction thereof, The kid is not a citizen. It's She must be, or married to Dad,who is, a citizen. It's been a scam the whole time. |
Title: Re: Birthright citizenship Post by zevenenergie on 11/08/24 at 11:53:29 You live here in the Netherlands as a Palestinian youth. And you see on the news every day how your family members are slaughtered, how snipers shoot children. And that you have to watch helplessly Now; Then there is a match of your club (Ajax) against Jews (Maccabi) The city is filled with Jews from Israel. And the Jewish supporters shouted among other things "we'll crappity smack the Arabs," and "crappity smack you Palestine" Also during the match there were slogans that there are no more schools and children in Gaza. Count yourself lucky that there were no deaths yesterday. And then the world speaks shame of it??? When will we wake up and see that everything and everyone is connected. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLIGxNZeW78 |
