Title: Re: Maybe it's not as good of an idea Post by zevenenergie on 11/03/24 at 01:26:16 And because smoke is fine dust, a very large area is hopelessly polluted. I wonder if the real environmental footprint has ever been looked at realistically. I think it is just a matter of a few left-wing idealists who have started investing and issuing subsidies and that the commercial sector has been happy to take over. This shows that chasing a wet dream is stupid. And ideology is also nothing more than an idea. You have to keep both feet on the ground. It has been scientifically proven and tested that worldwide organic farming will completely solve the CO2 problem in a year. The agricultural lands are now nothing more than dirt with artificial fertilizers and pesticides. There is no life left in the soil other than the planted crop. Organic farming gives a farmer 4x more money and the soil becomes earth again, which absorbs gigantic amounts of CO2. It is the lobbyists of Monsanto and large investment companies who are preventing this. That transition would not only solve the co2 problem but also the food problem in the world and the food would be many times more nutritious and less polluted. But not only that, the air would be much cleaner, the biodiversity would increase by leaps and bounds, we would have a much stronger immune system. It is such a big positive change for the living climate of the earth that fossil fuels could just continue to exist. We would also spend those billions that are now spent on nonsensical environmental policy to solve poverty, which would solve gigantic problems. If we could breathe clean air again and our food would be nutritious again, free of pesticides..... :o |

Title: Re: Maybe it's not as good of an idea Post by JOG on 11/03/24 at 17:24:53 The satellites say Earth is greener today than when thet started watching it. More vegetation is shadier. Cools the dirt. Holds water in better. Warm climate is how food grows. They Have to Buy CO2 Generators for the hothouse tomatoes. I'm not Ignoring CO2. I Value it. You act like the earth is supposed to remain in some set of temperatures. We've been through ice ages. Still coming out of one. The Sun isn't static. It's Very dynamic. It's actually got a pretty big role in the climate. Just before we were all going to Dah from the heat, the news, the Experts, all Tellin us we were about to enter a little ice age. The Experts are full of Shiit. Answer the Questions. You have been duped. |

Of course human activity influences climate, but how much? No one knows the answer to that. The IPCC publishes a report that lists multiple scenarios for the likelihood of climate change temperature increase and the impact from such. The news media emphasizes the least likely possibilities and reports this as what to expect. Liberal politicians do what they do best and realize regardless if the science is right, wrong or somewhere in the middle, here’s another tool they can use to win the game. Activists for any cause always over estimate whatever they are advocating for and climate change wackos take that to the extreme and these “news” articles are all they need to throw red paint on museum artifacts. It becomes almost a cult, a religion. Look at thumper here, the man couldn’t write two original sentences of more than ten words each on the simplest of topics, but he’ll condemn someone who writes outs thoughts develop from reading multiple sources and actually comparing what he’s read to real world observations. |

And that, is a very good description of TODAY'S, Ultra Liberal, Fairy Dust Sprinkling, WOKE. Who devotedly follow the Pied-Piper. Who will CRY IN THE STREET, while another group, (no political affiliation except GIMMIE, GIMMIE, GIMMIE), will be stealing and destroying. |
