Title: Why vote for Trump?
Post by WebsterMark on 09/22/24 at 04:29:54

A Trump Presidency won’t negatively impact my or my immediate family’s life in any way I can think of. His time in office before Covid was positive for me.

Harris is an unknown in many respects but if I assume she manages to move forward with some of her policies, I can’t see any benefits, not negatives.

The concept of an “opportunity economy” and her comments about equity and equality sounds like quality of performance and products take a back seat to whatever definition of diversity she imagines. And free speech will absolutely get trashed. There’s a long list but I’m heading to the airport for a work trip so more later, think about it. How will your life be personally impacted by the policies of the winner?

I think that if Trump becomes president he will do everything in his power to put things in order in Ukraine and the Middle East.
That would mean that inflation will decrease worldwide and trade relations will be strengthened again.

We no longer buy gas from Russia, and instead we now buy liquid gas from America. (That was forced upon us by the US.)So America will have to loosen its iron grip on the Netherlands.
I think that under Harris that will not happen and that they will push the world more into war.

I am a fan of free trade improvement.

Let’s think about this…

1) The national debt increased by 8 trillion under Trump.  The most by any president.  He now promises to eliminate the debt.  Enjoy that kool-aid.

2) Trump tariffs on China started a global trade war and those higher tariffs got passed along to consumers in the form of higher prices and inflation.  But he’s going to stop inflation if elected.  Enjoy that kool-aid.

3) If he can end the Ukraine/Russia war on Day 1, enjoy that kool-aid too.  Why doesn’t he pick up the phone and do it now?

4) Drill baby drill.  I’m fine with this.  I live in Texas.  But nobody beats OPEC at the price/production war game.  Easing tension in Israel and the Middle East would be a good thing, but there’s nothing to suggest it would impact OPEC and fossil fuel pricing and production in a meaningful way.

I don’t like Harris, but Trump’s plan is hollow words and pandering. And I’m still waiting for Mexico to pay for the Wall.

The question is do you want that war to stop? Because he has to be president to stop that war. And if you really want that, then you can vote for him.

I'm not sure, but I Think there are laws against citizens engaging in foreign policy work. And unless Trump is president, he has no authority to get anyone here to Do anything and the people in NATO don't care what he says.

Now, about people Telling us what they are Gonna do, and asking
WhynaFukk dontchya just Get on with it today??

Harris is in a position to accomplish some things.
