Title: Cam Chain Tensioner @ 17.4mm
Post by ThumperPaul on 09/18/24 at 08:40:12

Verslagen, I’m at 17.4mm extension on the plunger at 7190 miles.  Log that one in the book.

Will I be able to install the Versy CCT on the 2nd hole at this extension?  If not, I’m just gunna button it back up and save the Versy CCT for another day.

If Verslagen isn’t reading, does anyone else know?

Eyeballing it, it looks like I can use the 2nd hole.  Here goes…we’ll see.

Thanks.

Thanks Verslagen!!  PS - awesome craftsmanship!!  And my initials engraved in the side make me feel special (but I know I’m not)!  Thanks again!

And the Versy CCT installed.  Dang that was close.  If someone can use the 2nd hole at 17mm, you sir are a rock star.  At 17.4mm, I used 98% of available adjustment inward!  It’s only pushed out maybe 1-2 clicks on the pawl.  That was a challenging finger and coordination work out!  And the “Jesus clip” tried to give me a heart attack!  Boing…where’d that thing go!?

Nobody is gunna believe you’re a Jakkass if you keep sending love letters like this!  How pregnant is Coal?  I didn’t expect that entertainment when I visited!  Did you shoot the neighbor’s dog yet?  LOL  :(

No,man, I'm not pissed  at him. Not for knocking up the dog. I didn't like him over here while she was in heat, because that dog was scaring me. You saw him come up barking. I was backing up, trying to get that pistol outta my pocket. If I would have had a holster and had it in my hand sooner, I might have shot the Sumbitch right then. That dog is big enough to hurt someone bad with just one bite to a leg or arm. I've been gnawed upon before and I was really scared. I've never seen that dog Do anything. Never been that close to him either. I just wanted him to go home after that.
I haven't checked her out yet. Next time she's in the house I'll rub her tummy and see if the nipples are starting to firm up. That's the first sign.
You have a good weekend trip?

I know we both felt threatened by that dog and not knocking up Coal.  Coal wasn’t afraid of him though.  Lol.

No trips this weekend.  My wife is going to Waco next weekend.  Her middle daughter is coming in town from Detroit.  She decided it was okay if I bowed out for this visit.  I’d be like a 5th wheel anyway and I just saw all the grands last weekend up there.  That’s enough Wacko Waco for me for a while.  But I wouldn’t have minded watching my grandson play football Friday night.  I’ll miss that part.
