Title: Clutch Release Cam Broken Post by ThumperPaul on 07/15/24 at 08:14:48 Is this typically where the clutch release cam breaks? Nice clean break. It’s where the push rod contacts it at the stop area of the cam. Looking for the chunk that broke off now. Push rod too long? I’m just starting to dive in so I don’t have any other details at this stage. |

Getting close to needing something…. Versy CCT, rear tensioner, chain…. Who knows…. Drop $400 and replace everything! More inspection needed. |

You can kinda see where it was beating the hell out of the cam. It’s not a mega hard Sneeze clutch cam, but the fact the pushrod could start making its own divot had me saying “whoa”. Here’s a couple pics. Hard to get a good photo with glare, lighting, reflection. |

I am still waiting on the structure settlement, so I can start the demolition and rebuild. If insurance is involved, nothing happens quickly. :-[ |
