hello everyone,

This is my 3rd summer with my s40. I bought it a couple of years ago for $750. I’ve done a number of things to it… modified seat, mini-apes, tach, 25T front pulley, 140/90 rear tire, 110/90 front tire soon, windshield, paint, etc.

Roughly a year ago I bought some shocks off of eBay that I believe were 10.75” in height. They are an improvement over the stock’s shocks for sure, but I’m curious to find someone who’s had success with new shocks that is roughly my same build. I’m 5’10” and about 175 lbs. The shocks I have I’ve got on the highest preload setting and enjoy the firmness, until I hit a bump on the freeway and the bike darn near comes off the ground.

I’m familiar with the progressives, but they have a million different models and specs, so I’m looking for recommendations based on me and my bike.
