Title: Tool kit question. Post by easymoney on 02/05/24 at 08:27:34 My new-to-me 2013 S40 came without a tool kit. What is in the original, and what should be added (or discarded) for onboard carry? |

Title: Re: Tool kit question. Post by ThumperPaul on 02/05/24 at 11:14:33 I'd just check the hardware on your bike since hardware gets replaced sometimes. I need a 5mm and 6mm for my handlebars and levers. I need a 3mm for the throttle cable housing screw. A 3-6mm should cover most everything you might need for a roadside repair. If the screws on the float bowl of the carb have been swapped out for allen heads, you'd want that size too. |
Title: Re: Tool kit question. Post by verslagen1 on 02/05/24 at 11:45:33 you need 5mm for the footpegs and 6mm for the handlebar clamps and front disk. If you have a newer bike you'll need another size for the rear bolt. |
