For me, no cease-fire. Absolutely not.

My logic is German and Japanese citizens suffered far worse in WWII than the Palestinians are now. And there’s a reason why that’s important.
The capability and the people willing to wage war within Germany and Japan were completely decimated, wiped out. That was absolutely necessary to rebuild their society. I myself have walked in both Berlin and Tokyo. That would not have been possible :-* if we had left the Nazis and the Japanese emperor in place. If Israel does a ceasefire now, none of us will ever have a chance to walk in Palestine. But if they stick with it and completely wipe them out, there’s a chance the Palestinians will have an opportunity to develop a free and prosperous society.

Yeah it's easier to tell someone else they need to let an enemy regroup than it is to do it yourself.

I'd say your assessment is correct, if Hamas is allowed to exist, the events will just repeat.

FFS….. You leftist used social media to actually change the results of an election by withholding information that had it not been censored, would likely have change who won. If people had access to honest reporting showing the Hunter laptop stories were true and that Joe Biden had been taking money from foreign sources through his son, it would’ve only taken 20,000 votes to change the results of the election. So maybe sit out a discussion about using social media and elections!

It’s funny that before Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News, leftist never had any concerns about the media. It was only when a few people stood up and said wait a minute, everything is coming from one political point of view, and some of it is absolute falsehoods, only then did you get concerned. As more proof, look at how quickly Elon Musk went from hero to villain. Same as Trump. He was a hero to the left collecting awards from the NAACP, showing up on all the late night shows, but when he said he was going to run for president as a Republican, he turned into a dirt bag???
Whatever.

The people calling for a cease-fire who are tearing down pictures and with violent protest are puzzling to me. What’s the reason for so much antisemitism just springing up?

Back on topic and away from our fair and balanced moderator who unfortunately is infected with a strong case of TDS which requires him to relate any topic back to Trump (we could be talking about our favorite puppies as a child and he’d say Trump killed his puppies….) …. I was reading statements from my local Congresswoman, aka the joke known as Cori Bush, and I developed an exercise everyone should do when hearing or reading comments about the ongoing war.

Substitute the words Allied Forces in WWII whenever you read or hear Israeli Forces or IDF.

Then substitute the words and Germany or Nazis whenever you read or hear Palestine, Hamas or resistance.

Now how does it sound to you?
