Title: DPR8EIX-9 DOES NOT FIT Post by Edmundo on 11/09/23 at 13:16:22 DPR8EIX-9 Ngk spark plug DOES NOT FIT 2007 Savage S40 It screws into cylinder fine but the spark plug boot the hole in copper socket is too small for the wider nipple on the plug not even close. [DOES anyone know the size of socket that does fit DPR8EIX-9 ] Somewhere in the forum it said DPR8EA-9 could be swapped with DPR8EIX-9. On another bike I have swapped stock for iridium both NGK no problem. Maybe plug tip changed? or 2007 Savage has smaller plug socket or the socket on my bike is not stock? Anyway as described this situation the Iridium doesn't fit. Tip. |

Title: Re: DPR8EIX-9 DOES NOT FIT Post by ThumperPaul on 11/14/23 at 16:53:29 As Armen said and Ohiomoto showed in the pic, the tip unscrews. The last one I bought came without the larger tip screwed on (or even included). I was fine with it because I knew I was just going to remove it. |
