Youth will do that , after waay too many trips to the ER and waay too many trips to jail I started to notice red flags. The older I get the greater my sense of self preservation becomes. No longer play with rattlesnakes or jump off bridges , unless I’m on vacation. I save all that risk taking for riding !   Be Safe , Life is the best choice !

Yeah, doing STEWPID stuff was just part of being alive. As a West Texas roughneck encounters with rattlesnakes were pretty regular. I built a stick/light cable gizmo to grab them. The first one was a fat three footer. I learned I had made the cable too long to have both hands on the stick. A snake is pretty much a Muscle. The wiggling bastid scared me so I pulled tighter. It Shat. Duude! Rattlesnake Poo stinks worse than I could have ever imagined. Naturally I adjusted it and played with them a few times, but, mehh. I still like snakes. Except for the moccasins, copper heads and rattlers.

But, as I aged I developed a simple rule about Stuff that survives outside.
With the exception of a the non venomous snakes around here, if it lives outside and survives on its own, it's Not to be trifled with. I'd never get within jumping range of anything like that biggass lizard.

I have been showing this video to everyone I know. Fascinating how many need to watch it 2 - 3 times to get it. This is one for the ages.

Meh...it's clearly staged and not really that funny. IMO

My daughter keeps a ball python as a pet.  It's around 5' long now.  She has had it for 6+ years.
