Trump has been using Save America to pay for his legal bills, which have added up to $40 million so far this year, according to The Washington Post. The PAC, which had been set up in the days after the November 2020 election when Trump was raising money off of baseless election claims, had shelled out $16 million for legal fees in 2021 and 2022 combined. |
