Whould it be a good idee to close that hole?

The idea behind it is that the camshaft is then deeper in the oil and the bearings are also lubricated better.

I think that the engineer of suzuki intended it that way and that the hole was created when the block was edited. it could just be that the camshaft will last much longer.

I actually heard a few people from suzuki talk about the camshaft lasting so long that if you buy a new camshaft you get a complete savage as spare parts.
But that was before this mistake. 8-)
