Title: Sagan
Post by Serowbot on 06/23/23 at 16:43:00

In 1995 Carl Sagan has this to say about the future.

“Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time—when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness.”

That is now coupled with an extremists view that violence is ok in a democracy to purge anything that doesn't comport with what you want to believe, and that facts and science don't matter.

You have propaganda outlets masquerading as news and about a third of the electorate are fully enveloped in nonsense and will offer to murder anyone who doesn't agree with them. Until they are held to account, our republic is at risk.

Absolutely !

Science, not a body of knowledge, but a way of thinking.
Describes the CC woke Socialists perfectly.

all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries
Golly Gee Wally. WHO is saying that is a good thing ?

awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues
It’s been here for a number of years now.

people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority;
Question a ‘Pudden Head Puppet’, FBI doing the Biden’s/Clintons bidding. IRS doing Obama’s bidding. And on and on, and on.

extremists view that violence is ok in a democracy to purge anything that doesn't comport with what you want to believe,

Golly Gee, all those “peaceful” RIOTS. And you must hire a person that has the correct color, heritage, religion, sex, instead of hiring the most qualified.

propaganda outlets masquerading as news
  Russia, Russia, Russia, …

a third of the electorate are fully enveloped in nonsense and will offer to murder anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Perfect description of a UL, DFI, FDS, WOKE, Socialist !

Until they are held to account,
                    our republic is at risk.

Sagan would point a finger directly at you.

It is strange to see that humanity keeps repeating itself.

This planet has already hosted many civilizations. And always they came to the point where humanity subdued itself.

However, this time it is a bit different, if we are to believe the Vedas.

This time it is not civilization that perishes, but all of humanity.
The step that every civilization has to take was not a political or a scientific or a philisophical step it was an evolutionary step.

Where we would see that we are not the identified mind consciousness but cosmic consciousness.
In the Vedas that is called: the Parivatan.

Now we are faced with that task again.

The only way out is in.

You’ve described the progressive left perfectly.

Sagan described it.... and he wouldn't be referring to the left.
Your world view is incredibly twisted

My view is twisted?

You think girls can be boys and boys can be girls.
You think white supremacy is the most dangerous threat to this nation.
You think all of  Joe Biden’s family members earned those millions of dollars from foreign governments.
You think Joe never spoke to his son about his business?
You think Russiagate is true.
You think Trump told people to drink bleach.
You think Trump said Nazis were fine people.
You think a 17 year old Brett Kavanaugh arranged rape parties all summer long where the same girls were gang raped throughout the summer but no one found out about it.
You believe Kristie Blassy Ford.
You think Wuhan started with bats.

Honestly Sew, you’re not very bright.

Fun fact..
Lefties can have point after point proven. You can Show them the facts. But what they believe won't change.

It's almost as if they only Observe the facts they already decided would be true and ignore everything else.

By the way, every good sales person knows, most consumers buy products the same way. They’ve already made their mind up and they use talking points aka “facts” to justify their decision.

But that doesn’t change the fact that Joe Biden is, perhaps the single largest thief occupy the Oval Office.

Democratic advocates also known as Main Street media news broadcasters, have already decided The Big Guy is toast which is the kiss of death for any national Democrat. They are actually asking questions now. He’s  dead man walking. He will not run for reelection. It’s debatable if he’ll finish his term.

The debate for the news media now whether to get rid of Biden and put Harris in there long enough to see what happens or not.  RF Kennedy Junior is a real problem for them as well. They’re not gonna know what to do with him, truth is RF Kennedy is the Democrats version of Donald Trump. They don’t want them, but this might be a rare occasion where voters actually force a decision which is what happen with Trump and the Republicans. They didn’t want him either and look what happened. And unlike Bernie Sanders, RFK IS not going to go quietly into the night if the Democrat Party leadership try to screw him over.

Evidence exists to justify prison for the bidens. Watching people pretend that believing it is somehow indicative of faulty thinking is Pretty dammmed funny.

 This makes sense.
