Title: Replacement Wheels Post by Dreanimal on 03/30/23 at 05:26:41 My wheels are starting to show quite a bit of corrosion and I'll need some replacements. Any recommendations on where to start looking? I'm quite familiar with how to pick out automotive wheels, but motorcycle wheels are a new arena for me. I'm open to either spoke wheels or alloys. Thanks. |

So I have 2 sets of stock wheels in VERY good shape, near new. I would pass them on cheap, as I have no use for them. Where do you live? I am in south Florida. We can check on the shipping. |

Title: Re: Replacement Wheels Post by badwolf on 03/31/23 at 13:10:26 Eegore, I have mid 80's Suzuki 450 alloy wheels on one, direct swap in the rear, ( but 16'' wheel) a little work with the disc on the front. The other has 02' Suzuki Marauder wheels, 15 x 3.50 rear, and 16 x 3.00 front. The rear uses a larger brake with a tourqe arm, the front I had to make a adapter for a 320mm disc and dual piston caliper from a sv650. A bunch of work, but with 3 fingers on the front brake I can lock-up the front wheel at 30mph. No more grabbing the front brake and praying. |
