Could someone explain how it is possible to sue the manufacturer of a weapon that was used to kill people?
Now, I'm not interested in the ridiculous. It didn't jump off the table and run outside and just start spraying lead. It was firmly in the grasp of a Murderer, aimed at intended victims and the trigger pulled.
How is such a tragedy the fault of the manufacturer?
It was used to murder people. The guy who built it should have included a note,saying not to commit MURDER?

I know someone here has no problem with the act. Someone here has no problem with the idea of suing the manufacturer of a weapon used like that.
I'd sure like to be able to understand that, so, please, I know you have words. You probably have the Best words. Maybe you would be so kind as to make real sentences and explain it.

Maybe if you do a really good job I'll be able to agree and then when the manufacturer of that Rogue Red Car that ran all those people down gets sued I'll be able to agree.

Considering the typing trying to open the door for reasonable back and forth conversation that went exactly nowhere, I'm not holding my breath.
Anyone who disagrees with the idea of suing them is also welcome to explain why lefties are okay with it. I sure as hell don't understand.

Simply because the UL DFI FDS Socialists, are using anything they can think of to remove one's Freedom.

(Same as people saying they have a gun, but no one else can)

Yet the same UL DFI FDS Socialists would say it is foolish to sue the gas company, because that was the gas in the car in a accident.

What about the car? That guy who rammed all those people got over eight hundred years. Kinda silly.
In prison, till ya croak No chance of parole. I'd think that would be sufficient.
Wasn't he driving a Ford? Why not sue the manufacturer of the car? Makes every bit as much sense as suing a gun manufacturer. As in Zero. It takes some strange people to find a gun manufacturer guilty for someone taking their product and killing people with it. It's just bizarre to even think that is in any way reasonable. Whoever Thought to do that is a weird person.

How?
Because judges and juries with weak belief systems can be persuaded by clever attorneys after years of almost subliminal messaging from news and entertainment laying the foundation to make a decision whose root logic could not be applied elsewhere.
