Saw this quote and it explains a lot of what goes on in the world.

The problem with deferring to a class of experts is that there are only a handful of outliers in any field; the vast majority are mediocre and suffer from groupthink. Invariably, when you are told to defer to experts, it means the mediocre middle, not the true standouts.

All should defer to tRump on all topics because he knows more than all the experts on all subjects.
He has said so. Many, many times.
He reads lots of Twitter you know.

Let’s not lose sight of the truth of the quote. It’s how ridiculous policies continue to live on despite obvious evidence to the contrary. This is how the masking of grade school children survived for so long.

I realized the how much the Experts really are worth a long time ago.
Every single trade deal, all worked out by our Best and Brightest, hurt Americans.
I watched the Vietnam war and how foolishly it was prosecuted. Every year I hear about how important the flu shot is. Aww,heck, we built the jab to fight a different strain again.
Experts are running the economy, or so I'm told. Fauci was where he is when aids came along. Nothing he did did anything For those people.
I'll decide if Someone is an expert. I'll know, because they will stand head and shoulders above the rest and their answers will work.
Just because someone has been in a job long enough so they Should be an expert doesn't mean they are. Telling the American people someone is an expert? They just do that to get people who know They are not an expert themselves to listen to the Experts being trotted out and do what they say. I didn't believe anything they said about the Rona. I gave them the two weeks and then stopped complying.
