Taking apart my stator cover for the fifth time, which requires the removal of the kickstand, which in turn requires the removal of these long bolts that go all the way through the engine. I am thinking to reverse them this time around, so if I ever have to take them apart again, I'll just have to remove the nuts and slider the kick stand off. Any potential issues I should be concerned with?

The other side of that bolt is the heat shield on the right hand foot peg, right? I think it's two cap nuts that sit on there -- I think that the cap nut, if you reverse it, will not give enough clearance for the kickstand when it is up.

It is annoying I have to agree. Well, it is if you are pulling the cover off more than once a year like I have been. (5 times in 2 months)

I did reverse them, and replaced one of the stupid cap nuts with a regular M10x1.25 nut.
