I think hypocrisy is more of the issue. Liberals gripe about Conservatives going around in public with AR's etc. then do it themselves.

Except...

These are all individual components. It's not truly hypocritical for an AR wielding Liberal at a Pride Parade to roam around unless that specific individual stated that it is bad conduct when other humans, especially Conservative 2nd Amendment practitioners.

I know plenty of anti-AR Conservatives and plenty of pro-AR liberals. But its so much easier to just group everyone together and say all Conservatives are pro-gun racists and all Liberals are lawless socialist hypocrites.

I don't lump them in unreasonably. It's The Only experience I have, talking about Me,not someone else,
I don't have any idea how hard you'd hafta dig to find a single, just one, right wing anti AR guy around here. You Might be able to find a woman who is a solid right wing type but does not have personal experience with guns and has been lied to about the AR enough to have a negative attitude about them. I mean, after all,a bullet outta one of those things is five times faster than any other rifle.
