So, that clip wasn't the whole thing? You don't mean to tell me someone edited it in a deceptive manner, do you?
I'm having a hard time envisioning how it went. The clip I saw was just a good clap on the back. And the guy walked away. So, did he smash Rudy wait for him to gather himself up and then do what we saw?

You mean they "upgraded" the charges downward?

Gill, an employee at the ShopRite, was initially arrested on a felony charge of second-degree assault involving a person over 65. Being spoken to and things being said to him should be of no surprise and should be anticipated.”

The Vicious Perpetrator shows up about five seconds into the clip. He walks by and puts a mild slap on Rudi, he didn't even move.

IDK the letter of the law, maybe that constitutes assault, but it doesn't meet the threshold in my eyes.

OK, so I finally watched this. The last link in this thread didn’t work so I just found it on YouTube.

If you watch it again you can see him visibly move forward an inch or two after the slap. So if you come up and just tap somebody on the back they’re not gonna move forward at all so I think the tap was much more than a tap it was a little bit harder than what it seems in the video. Was it an assault? I wouldn’t charge somebody with an assault for something like that.

Now, watch it again but this time watch the woman standing to Rudy’s left. She immediately reaches forward which tells me it was way more than a playful tap. she probably heard it and saw Rudy move forward which indicates it was a bit more than a tap. Again what is an assault?

But while there’s no sound, let it play through again and watch the people in the group. It’s clear the guy is yelling and I’ve read that he was yelling profanities. So to me when you put that together with a “playful tap” that pushes him forward an inch or two and the woman directly next to him recognizes that, I’d say again this is more than just a nothing burger

I'd have to agree with Webstermark in regards to utilizing the female to the left of Giuliani to assess the impact since we have such a poor video to assess physical impact.

While I don't think she reacted to Giuliani's physical movement, I do think she reacted to the sound of the impact. This, to me, seems as if it was more than a "tap" but not worthy of an assault charge.
