If we’ve learned one thing from COVID (and let’s face it, we learned a lot) it’s that the local, national and global health organizations are far more political than they should be. Good luck discerning the truthfulness level of news on Monkeypox.

…and smallpox is a highly contagious disease. There’s practically no comparison between the two.
