I went to Rycamotors.com and hardly recognized the site! The seem to be doing only computer renderings now.

-Availability of Ryca stuff is one of the big reasons that I want a Savage.

-if you all have already discussed this, please send me the link. I did search for it. Thanks

RYCA stuff has been out of the market for about 5 years now. If you need RYCA stuff, best to look for an uncompleted project.

Or make your own.

I visit the Ryca site a few times per year. I thought their site may do well after offering kits for Harley Sportsters.

In my opinion, the only items in the RYCA kit that was of great value were the bracket for the rear sets, the side covers, battery box and fuel tank modification. Everything else can easily be found (for less money).

If I were to make another S40 cafe racer, the only item I'd want would be the rearset brackets. I would move the electronics into the rear "hump", eliminating the need for a battery box and the side covers. Fuel tanks and seat pans are readily available from other sources. Do a search for "cafe racer tank seat pan" on eBay and marvel at the choices.
