My question if someone edits a video of Trump, or even You, out of order and represents it as being in-order, would it be cool to ignore the editing and just treat the altered footage as truth?

Then when the altered footage of You is presented, they counter your statement of altered footage with "Yeah but somebody else lied about Russia".

We have all lied at one time, but that doesn't change the fact that the video footage was altered.
