Title: Choke travel ?? Post by Evanswv on 02/12/22 at 15:58:09 I was hoping to get my new main jets in today's mail, but I didn't. I did however remove my carb, and cleaned ,and did the white spacer mod. All I need do now is screw the new main in. I noticed that my choke stem will pull out enough to expose a ring like bulge on the stem. Should the rod come back that far, or had it been forced in the past ? Thanks |

Thanks, I hadn't thought it pulled out as far when on the bike. I took it back out after posting the picture, and there is are 2 of the budges on the shaft. Does the choke assembly supposed to have any kind of seal to prevent vacuum, or fuel leaks ? Mine just has the small boot on the threaded piece, and the hole is not a tight fit to the rod. |
