Title: You guys are so frickin' lucky ! Post by zipidachimp on 02/08/22 at 21:21:11 Spent a cloudy, boring Sunday afternoon exploring the innerwebs, especially Craigslist and specifically Craigslist in San Diego, Portland and Seattle since they are in a straight line from where I live. Wow! discovered that of the bikes I like, I can buy 2 to 3 low mileage bikes in the US for the price of a decent bike up here. Ex: 2016 S40 $1500, lots of cool bikes in most of the 3 markets at really great prices, both dealers and private. Will begin talking to customs brokers and see if I can catch a bargoon. Cheers! 8-) |

Title: Re: You guys are so frickin' lucky ! Post by Dave on 02/09/22 at 03:25:47 The motorcycle market where I live is incredible. I live within 20 minutes of Cincinnati and there is a good selection - but the cool part is that Columbus and Dayton Ohio are less than 2 hours drive , and Louisville and Lexington Kentucky are about the same distance......and Indianapolis Indiana is just a bit farther to the west. The Craigslist has thousands of motorcycles for sale within a couple hours drive for me! The majority of the bikes listed here in the midwest are big American V-Twins or the Japanese copies. In between those listings are a lot of nice dirt bikes, dual sport, adventure, sport, touring or vintage bikes. I used to see Savage motorcycles for sale on a regular basis - for some reason there have not been many listed recently. |

OK, that's if the owner wants it back and pays for it. If the owner abandons it? |
