Yeah, he's good and he has a trailer that is able to help out with the corners. The route is only slightly terrifying. The close quarters are bad enough, but the scary part that I thought I was seeing was the hard drop off right by the edge of the road squeezing by the homes. All that weight crushing down and the driver hoping Today, This load, isn't the day the world falls apart and that front tire doesn't find itself with nothing holding it up.

With the GoPro cameras and the technology available, I don't understand why a guy wouldn't want a camera showing him Exactly where the front tire is and keep eyes on how it is going at the corners of the truck.
And yeah, I've had to learn how to operate trucks and pull trailers.  And NO, it's NOT fun WHILE you're in a pickle. Once you get out of a bind, the world is a beautiful place!
I don't Remember the last time I drove that 18 wheeler back to the shop on the last day I was employed by the plugging and abandoning company, but if that was The Last Time I ever shift the gears on a big truck, I'm Good with that.

The equipment was old, five speed Mack tractors. Dash lights, no workee, tach? Are you kidding? So the oil pressure gauge became my approximate tach. The maglite in my mouth let me watch the gauge and help with shifting.
Good Grief, the things a man will do to keep beans on the table for his family. And I Loved the Job.

What an Assume set up !  The rear 12 wheels are a truck unto its-self !!

It took me a while to see how it operates .  That is Genus !!

What country do ya think that is ?   :-?

Back when I drove a fork lift every day I noticed that :

after a few months those fork tips become the driver's finger tips for all practical uses.   Like the machine becomes part of your body.  ::)

Reasonable, Row, it's not like sitting in a recliner. It's not something that
The everyday guy
does.
Who spotted the additional width of the road in front of the brown house? Who else noticed the rear wheels of the trailer working like a tiller? That route is not new. That driver is not even almost the first to navigate that. And the surgeon who is doing that heart valve replacement is not the FIRST,, but he Is the one
Doing it Right Now.
And, as Row points out, it's Stressful, no matter how many times it's worked out, it's Still something that can go pear shaped in the blink of an eye.

The distance from the edge of the asphalt to the edge of
The World
was bugging me, bad.
