Started a day or so ago, the blast happened with a satellite overhead.

Now it's gone off again and I can't see well enough to see if the land is blown away.

I'm not near enough to the coast to hear the tsunami warnings.
Surprised to see a coast guard patrol boat sank. This is not the 1st time this has happened. I remember xmas 2004.

Looks like it just wiped most of the island away.
I don't remember so much volcanic activity. Is it better access to information or are we really seeing more activity?
Why would it suddenly change?
