I think this would make more sense if the same judge was involved.

Take any 4th degree assault in any areas of the country from any number of judges and the judicial responses are all over the place. Everything from preference to overcrowding takes precedence.

Now if this judge was putting Jan 6th guys in jail for a year but letting this idiot go free then it would be a comparison. If we want to compare violence bond releases to Jan 6th I could provide hundreds and hundreds a day.

So if someone did;

So glad to know that many of the Jan 6th guys
got a year in Jail.
Because what they did,
is so much worse than what Coates did.

Just another example,
of the hundreds of examples,
where the UL, FDS, DFI Socialists,
want to, 'protect' the law breakers,
until all of this Nation is controlled.

THEN, Just like China,
(where if you are world famous),
it is a 'free' stay in the 'dothismotel',
until you, 'change', your 'recounting' of events.

If you are NOT, world known.
You just, 'disappear' !

And no insurrection charges.

And the Crazy Redneck Trump supporters went to the Capitol to overthrow the government..

And they all went UNARMED!!

But they weren't all unarmed.

The majority were unarmed. But this logic that on this one day a guy spraying bear spray, or another using a hockey stick were "unarmed" is delusional.

How can anyone watch that guy swinging a hockey stick and tell anyone else he was unarmed?
