Title: Ashli
Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/07/22 at 18:34:12

The argument I saw was

What If she was coming through your bedroom window?

Well, she was Not.
And, her hands were busy climbing, not hauling a gun.
And the same people who celebrate her Murder
Stand on
You can't shoot them for stealing stuff!

She was guilty of
Trespass.
Keep celebrating her MURDER.

If I enter any area where multiple humans are pointing guns at me I would have a clear expectation that I could be shot.

We all know if this was a black masked ANTIFA human doing the exact same thing it would be fine to kill that human.

It's not the action of shooting a human in that door that is upsetting, it is that Babbitt represented a specific political view and the supporters of that political view don't like seeing people with their ideologies being killed.  If it were a human with opposing ideologies and Trump was winning the election it would have been fine to kill that person.

"Trespass" isn't the issue, her political representation is.

You destroyed yourself by admitting you think freedom should be limited and removed from the people,, slowly.

You really think when I say something totally unrelated to destroying Freedom I meant I want to destroy Freedom?

It was obvious what I meant when people use the words I said and not manufacture statements I did not say.

It's not only about Ashley.  I'm sure had it been just her, it would have been handled differently.
It was the uncontrolled crowd that had to be stopped.
Her mistake was putting herself at the spearhead of that crowd.

This is a good point.  A lone woman crawling through a window most likely would not have been killed.

So…….let’s extrapolate that to police officers in the field dealing with violent, drug infused felons daily.

If I overdose and freak out on my suburban street and the cops show up and I charge them, they treat me as “a lone woman crawling through a window”. I think we all agree that’s what would happen. However, in an environment where I’m just another thug in a area crawling with thugs and where this behavior is constant and regularly turns violent, if I freak out or act in a threatening manner, cops beat the hell out of me, or worse.

If you think Babbit got shot because she was in a crowd of thugs threatening peaceful society and the shooting was understandable, then surely you think Officer Darren Wilson shooting Michael Brown who was attacking him was likewise understandable.

Very REASONABLE !!!

But, Wait for the 'spin' of why,
          it is not !

Yes,.. a grand jury failed to indict.
They found witnesses for Wilson's version of events more believable.
A later review found the same thing.
I have no dispute.
