Title: removing float bowl with carburetor on bike

My carburetor is off the bike now while waiting for parts. I may need to experment with different jets once I get it back on the bike. How hard is it to get to the main and pilot jets with the carburetor on the bike?

Fairly easy, you just need to drop the bowl.
Usually the bat box gets in the way, but a ratchet strap can pull it backwards and you'll have plenty of room.

It becomes much easier if you replace the JIS screws with Allen headed socket screws.

First time you probably need to have it on the bench. If you have to use a handheld impact be sure to back-up the part you are smacking on. Ditch the JIS heads.
