 I'm pretty sure if we compare actual racist hate crimes to fake ones, there will be more actual racists than fake ones.

 This is like comparing actual assaults to situations where somebody faked an assault.  It happens for sure, but more people punch someone else in the face out of anger than there are people punching themselves in the face to get someone else in trouble.

I think it’s possible if you include all racist assaults (including the 50 run over by Brooks) you are probably correct. If you limit it to white on black, I’m not sure.

By the way, I read it took the jury 9 hours to find him guilty because they laughed for the first 8 hours.
