Title: Losing the championship belt….
Post by WebsterMark on 12/09/21 at 04:20:27

….. this year for St. Louis as murder capital of the US. Looks like we’re going to miss out on the title this year.

WTF? Honestly now, what’s the number one reason for this. The prevalence of guns? I doubt that. As has been pointed out in my home state of Missouri the largest percentage of gun ownership is in the poorest rural counties where murderers and gun violence is extremely rare so it’s not the presence of a gun per se.

Is it the general feeling of lawlessness that started with mass protest that were not shut down and allowed  criminals to loot, burn and steal anything in sight with no repercussion? Kind of goes back to the other thread about the smash and grab robberies. There’s a price to be paid for those events and it’s more than just losing a few cameras, high-end purses and some nice tennis shoes.

Very interesting.
The cities in the map shown,
are well known as,
Ultra Liberal, FDS, strongholds.

Wonder why so MUCH crime in those areas.

(oh and for the internet challenged)

And it started getting worse,
when some people took advantage of the,
UL, FDS, DFI, Socialistic Progressive movement.

A  cop, does what he is trained to do.
to a known Felon,
who was committing a crime,
and was fighting the arrest,
gets a 22 year sentence.
In a know-en place,
in a 10x10 cell with 1 in 24 hours of, ‘exercise’, alone.

A  cop, shooting a un-armed Woman,
in cold blood, in her PJ’s
gets a (now reduced) sentence of 4.75 years,
in a undisclosed location,
(Code for 'Country Club' prison)

Isn’t the progressive, Socialism, agenda,
such a, ‘Wonderful’ thing !

I think given the outstanding number of variables for every murder that bringing it down to one reason would mean we have to look at human psychology.

Lets just look at home-invasion, infidelity, gang-territory and murder-suicide.  All of those are so different how can we start to assess what one thing led to these?

Home-invasion might be lack of local law enforcement, but killing a person in public who cheated on you means that guy didn't care if he got caught so law-enforcement isn't a factor.  Gang-related murder has a lot to do with environment and law enforcement, but murder suicide isn't.

It's possible to create some averages in specific geographical locations  but to just address gun-specific murder in the US as a whole is an outstanding level assessment and variables.

Of course the Why is manifold. But let's look at the common denominators.

Hmm, democrats in charge.
Even Austin Texas,, it's In Texas,, and on this list.
So, what Policy decisions have been implemented in the past years that are different from back when it wasn't crazy?
What economic changes are reflected in the population? What demographic changes can we see?
IDK, but did Austin Defund the cops? Did they elect a DA who is soft on crime?
It's really tiresome to hear
Guns
From the very people who, while ignoring the science, chant
Follow the Sighunce.
The Science clearly says, does not suggest, nor Indicate, that more guns in the hands of normal, law abiding people leads to less violent crime in Total.
