 I think it's a lose - lose scenario.

If they reduce travel and Disease A is not very bad then it was an over-reaction.

If they do not reduce travel and Disease A kills a bunch of people then it was an under-reaction.

Everyone is an expert on what should have been done.  As for Omicron and international travel who knows.

That article by the S.African doctor says
Everyone who had been vaccinated is having mild symptoms
The Unvaxxed are having No symptoms.

That is what it says in the article.
I don't know how to defend it.
I don't see how it benefits her to poke her head up and say anything against the
REEE! It's CoVid hysteria

Considering she provides zero evidence I will put her up there with the doctor that "cured" 300 patients with hydroxychloroquine yet can't find one patient that will say so.

 Show me some useable information.

Of course a doctor saying this with no clinical documentation is to be believed but 4.6 million verified vaccinated patients - that's all wrong, or fake, or something.

According to about 40 other doctors in multiple locations across Africa:

74% of virus genomes sequenced in the last month belonging to the Omicron variant.

The week leading to November 30th South Africa reported a 311% increase in new cases, compared with the previous seven days.

Hospital admissions rose 4.2% in the past seven days from the previous seven days. And COVID-19-related deaths increased 28.6% from the previous seven days.

102 million people, or 7.5% of the population of Africa is fully vaccinated.  More than 80% of the population has not had a dose.

People with no vaccination are reporting to hospitals with symptoms and over 54% carry the Omicron variant.  I imagine its pretty common for people with no symptoms to not go to a hospital to not be treated for not having anything wrong.

But this one doctor probably is right and the averages across multiple locations are all wrong.

You Know that is correct.

"You Know that is correct."

What is correct?  That one doctor claims only unvaccinated get Omicron symptoms?

Or that multiple averaged outcomes are more reliable than one source?

Either could be true, but I will go with the reports of multiple cases in multiple locations where there are actual humans referenced with lab reports, independent reports etc.  Not the "she saids" out there with not one shred of information to support it.

Absolutely! No doubt!
You are absolutely correct.

5 people in Nevada test positive for Omicron, 4 are not vaccinated.

Obviously this is wrong because one doctor in Africa had different results right?

The result that matters the most is that COVID-19 is a problem for the elderly and those with known multiple pre-existing conditions. For the rest of us, it should be an acceptable risk to daily life.

Ffs,I didn't declare it the word of GOD.

It's INFORMATION, to USE. Prove or disprove.
I said
I don't know how to defend it.
I'm really about to go off on you,

"Ffs,I didn't declare it the word of GOD."

Reading back through I see this appears I am directing responses towards you directly which is not my intention.

I am just referring to information usage across the board.
