A Senator just asked one of the principals if they would agree that 4,000 is a reasonable estimate. He couldn't say it wasn't.

If Trump had made this mess lefties would be foaming at the mouth.

Actual American people SHOULD be demanding accountability.

The MAN who Did call for accountability is in the brig, his letter of resignation and telling them he doesn't want his retirement and benefits after almost twenty years.

You'll find out Trump negotiated the surrender, set the date, and released 5,000 Taliban prisoners, one of whom is the current leader in Afghanistan.
Biden inherited this mess and took the best of two bad options. The other was to stay and endanger our troops more by breaking the agreement. That would have required an escalation of US forces.

And there it is, boys and girls. MnSpring has rather succinctly and and accurately diagnosed the situation. If one hates Trump sufficiently then no further discussion is necessary or even possible. ANYTHING that is NOT Trump is automatically better and the case is closed.

Trump hasn't been in charge of anything that the government has done for ten months now, yet, in the minds of the antitrunpers he is still somehow responsible for the sh*tshow we have been watching unfold right in front of us in all that time.Not the folks who actually are in charge.
