Title: Intruder triple tree Post by SavageMan99 on 09/10/21 at 09:55:02 Hi again, The 800 triple tree deal I had a line on fell through. I'm curious if the 1400 triple tree will work with the right bearings, or are the dimensions just wrong to fit in the S40 frame?

Title: Re: Intruder triple tree Post by Fast 650 on 09/10/21 at 11:05:00 I am pretty sure that the 1400 tree won't work on a Savage frame. If I remember right, the stem is a bigger diameter on the 1400 and is longer. The fork tubes are a lot bigger diameter and the spacing between them is wider. Even if the stem would fit you would still need the entire front end, wheel and all. Keep looking for a 750 or 800 Intruder, that does swap onto the Savage frame.
