Title: Crank wont turn with side cover on Post by CowboyPat on 08/22/21 at 07:28:03 Hey guys! Haven't written any questions on here in a while but it's good to be back. I have an 01 savage that I noticed was leaking a little bit of oil out of the side cover (stator side, right side if you're sitting on the bike). Attempting to do some preventative maintenance for once, I changed out the gasket and like magic, no oil leak. But now my starter cannot turn my crank anymore. The starter CAN turn the crank with the side cover off. But when I put it back on its like the whole engine is froze up. As always, thanks for any help guys and gals! -Cowboy Pat
