Title: Broke key to the battery cover/t box. Suggestions? Post by Louel on 07/19/21 at 22:57:03 New rider. Dropped my bike during low speed left then. Key got bent for the battery cover / tool box. Tried to bend it back into place but it chipped right down the middle Locksmith that does motorcycle key duplicates couldn't make a copy. Any way to remove this cover if I get a new set? What are my options? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks! |

If you can remove those the cover can be removed from the bike. btw, only 1 side of the key works the tumblers, flip the key and carefully re-insert. |

A good locksmith has access to these databases. They may charge you $20-25 (they have to buy the databases) but if you have no other solution it's worth it. |
