New rider. Dropped my bike during low speed left then. Key got bent for the battery cover / tool box.

Tried to bend it back into place but it chipped right down the middle

Locksmith that does motorcycle key duplicates couldn't make a copy.

Any way to remove this cover if I get a new set?

What are my options?

I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

There are 2 screws just behind the key cylinder.
If you can remove those the cover can be removed from the bike.

btw, only 1 side of the key works the tumblers, flip the key and carefully re-insert.

My locksmith can look up codes and make keys from scratch. A good locksmith has access to these databases. They may charge you $20-25 (they have to buy the databases) but if you have no other solution it's worth it.
