Title: 1986 savage decompression
Post by Crowman on 06/17/21 at 18:21:18

Hello hope someone can assist.me, Iam new to this. I.have a 1986 savage, bought few years ago. I have completed most of it and some parts are missing. Can anyone tell me where the decompression actuator release is located. I have it not sure where it fits, I hope someone can direct me to a picture where it goes. Also I don't have a decompression relay control unit  nor a decompression solenoid, do I need those to get the bike up and running ? just want a bare bones wiring with signal lights. I have all other parts that I can tel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for any help. :'(

See if what you want is in this thread.

I believe RYCA also had some YouTube videos posted on how to reroute the wires to eliminate the side stand switch and decompression controller.

Is the triplicate thread?  Seems like I've seen a poll or two on this topic.   :o
