I have a 2002 savage and my left side cover fell off during a ride. I've looked everywhere online to find one that is the same fit. I came across one for a 2005 savage, does anyone know if this side cover will fir a 2002 savage? My gut says yes, but wanted to verify before purchasing.

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else. I tried doing some digging and came up empty-handed. If it is posted somewhere, appreciate the link below.

If you are talking about the body colored cover that is just under the seat and behind the battery box - they are all the same fitment.....but different colors.

The left side one is harder to find than the right side - as the left side only has 1 screw holding it on, and therefore it falls off more often than the right side which is held on by 2 screws.

Good for you Dave. Piece of cake to paint it, not so easy to match the colour.
