Will a car tire on a Savage get the same mileage it would on a car?

Man I don't want to start a ''car vs m/c tire war'',,,,BUT, there have been people here who have tried car tires. Most don't.
If you want the long mileage and are willing to accept the risks and handleing impacts, go ahead.
What risks?
The following article is long, and prety tech heavy, but explans the differnces and why no tire makers will even test them.

That video shows a risk that you should be aware of...
when seating the bead, it will take more pressure and every once in awhile, a tire explodes.
Just ask OF.  in fact, his darkside posts should still be on here.
To seat the bead, get an extension hose that threads onto the nipple and stand the hell back.

I’d use me a studded snow tire for all season ridin.
Nothin any finer than a new snow tire.

Hey if you don’t kill yourself mounting the tire , send us a pic of the clearance between tire and swingarm. Good luck & be careful !
