You know the work that I do is primarily directed at restoring women to their rightful place in society because the world is out of balance. Gullible is a word with a clear meaning and if I want to point out for example that him thinking and posting to the effect that trump won because he believes something that Don Jr or Guiliani might say, or that he thinks the count was fraudulently run, even in States that are controlled by Republicans, then it's not abuse to say that is gullible, in fact it's the very fcuking definition of the word. Getting back to my post though I was referring to a facebook page called Gay Communists for Socialism https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/nov/06/trump-supporters-gay-communists-for-socialism-facebook-group The whole point of the owner of the group was to show precisely how easily manipulated and gullible are these types of Trump supporters. Even when the name was changed to Gay Communists for Trump, they believed it was to hide from Facebook moderators. That is ludicrously gullible. The posts of the Trump supporters here, and you're free to disagree are equally gullible, and I say that because no one offers any actual evidence of the so called fraud they claim, and somehow everyone is against them, including Republican governors, Republican Judges and Republican Supreme Court judges. It's fair to call that gullible, if a single unsupported allegation is believed as absolute fact, or some actual single piece of fraud is then used to extrapolate the entire election. So I just said, 'join your buddies'. Meaning those other gullible people. There's no abuse there or name calling. Check out this John Oliver Clip, it starts out with Trump Supporters saying that they don't blame Trump for the virus because "he did the best he could". On this forum that is every page. Why with all these banners anyone would think there is no Ad revenue is beyond me. Recently another was added that redirects the page you selected to an ad. He created the TT to solve the problem of heated non-motorcycle discussion in the main body of our site. It works. The rest of the site is renowned as being both informative and inclusive. If we lose the TT... the world doesn't go away,... and I would expect some spillover into areas we want to keep tidy. If you really don't like it here, don't click on it. There are those here that need and enjoy this release. I have created some very loose rules to follow and still allow maximum freedom of expression. I don't think that's too much to ask. Somebody has to,... so I did. No personal attacks... and now, thanks to an unanticipated indiscretion... I must require a modicum of respect for women. A line has been crossed. I'm grateful to see some agreement here... that what I ask is not overstepping. |
