Title: Graham is telling Biden to pick for his cabinet
Post by eau de sauvage on 11/06/20 at 12:47:36

"There may be some people that I just can’t vote for because I think they’re unqualified or too extreme.

Like William Barr for example, qualified yet so extreme that he turned the DoJ into the President's private law firm as much as he could. Who withheld the Mueller report and lied about its contents. Who talked up the very fraud claims that Trump is now trying to use. No you couldn't call Barr extreme could you.

Bader Ginsburg's body wasn't even cold before he revered his 'promise'. And now Trump is not even vanquished yet and he's still proclaiming to be in charge.

Biden should remember this in the event that the Senate splits 50/50 which is still possible in January.

Old Lindsey may be gloating at his ability to stymie Biden, a wee bit too early. The final two Senate seats will be in a runoff election on January 5th and these seats are in Georgia, which has just turned blue, meaning that when they vote in this run off the people of Georgia have the opportunity to either hand power to banjax the new administration to McConnell and Graham, OR they can give those two the middle finger and allow Biden the chance to govern.

And during this time Trump will be slowly spit roasted and he can't run away and hide. If Biden gets these two seats in about six weeks, it will be the icing on the cake, as Harris will have the deciding vote.

Ginsburg’s body was cold 4 or 5 years ago but she believed the bull$hit hype that she was some kinda Goddess or something and didn’t retire when Hopey was President.. She wasn’t. She was an activist partisan judge who thought she was bigger than The Court.

And Georgia didn’t turn blue. Far from it. State legislators remained under Republican control and with Republican governor. It will be interesting to watch the Georgia Senate run offs. With tens of thousands mailing in a ballot with just Biden marked because they fell for the media hype about Trump, how many of those lazy, unengaged voters will bother looking up from their phones long enough to bother casting a Senate vote?

But watch the millions and millions of $ the ultra-wealthy will pour into Georgia trying to give Democrats control of the Senate. All of a sudden, campaign finance will take a back seat. Rich billionaires and Wall Street’s involvement won’t be a problem for Democrats for the next couple of months.

You can't complain about 'campaign finance' when it was the Republicans who pushed that through.

Also Glenn Kirschner comes up with an interesting way to respond to Mitch McConnell taking up the role of the grim reaper and killing any congressional legislature.
