Title: Head Plug Post by RedWing on 10/30/20 at 16:09:09 Greetings, I’m working on a ‘97 650 Savage. Trying to locate a headplug. Can someone post a part number or a place to get one. Thanks in advance! |

Title: Re: Head Plug Post by verslagen1 on 11/02/20 at 13:42:49 No, this is caused by not retorquing the head bolts and the oil passage thru the head is leaking. Oil will flow along the head gasket and will come out where ever a head bolt is. You can remove the nut, clean it up, apply RTV and it will seal. |

Title: Re: Head Plug Post by Keifer on 11/03/20 at 15:29:29 I read on here some say retorque the head, others say leave it alone... Is it just case by case basis?? Ie do it if you have a leak only... |
