Sure, I'll buy that.

@BarackObama who wants to raise all our taxes, only pays 20.5% on $790k salary. http://t.co/bqF26mQf Do as I say not as I do.
   — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2012

The Los Angeles Times reported at the time that Obama’s tax rate was slightly lower than average for people in his tier due to $172,130 in charitable donations that year.
Trump’s write-offs include $70,000 in hairstyling costs for “The Apprentice,” while much of his charitable giving was in the form of conservation easements, or agreements not to develop certain properties, including land around an estate the Trumps use as a family retreat.

Wow, apperentice then ... really you couldn't find anything newer, and worse yet, really he didn't spend 70K for what may have been 200-500 or even more hair appointments - remember this crap is a TV show, your 1 hr view time may have taken 500 takes and 1000 hours to "produce"

Talk about a nothing burger.

Cool.
Srinath.

Hair continues to grow on corpses after death occurs. So Biden will need his hair done still.  :D

Face it. The guy has the most famous hairdo in the history of the world. At least according to the lefties and their media cronies. They haven't shut up about Trump's hair since he decided to run for president.

That kinda publicity aint cheap. 70K seems like a bargain to me.

Maybe that's why his returns are "under audit".

IRS and Trump's lawyers arguing about the merits of his hair as a business or campaign expense deduction no doubt.

This is funny...

Good luck on the campaign trail, Joe. You’re about to meet an America that has already left you behind.

My understanding is if Trump paid personally for hairstyling that was done only for The Apprentice, at that filming location, he can claim it.

I know people in the military attempt to claim haircuts and grooming because it is required.  None have received a tax write-off after investigation.

Personal hygiene and cosmetics is a hard thing to get a write-off on.

The thing to remember about Trump's 'tax avoidance' is that much of what the Times reported was not tax avoidance but tax fraud. For example Ivanka Trump claiming $700,000 plus for 'consulting fees' is tax fraud because she was already an employee of the company and therefore not entitled to 'consulting fees'.
