Title: Clutch arm has a ton of free play. Please help Post by IamKirok on 09/24/20 at 18:34:24 so I put a new clutch, pressure plate, springs and push rod in and everything went in great. Bolted everything together and I have now put on a new cable thinking that was the issue and I also have a new lever. But my clutch arm won’t even begin to hit the push rod until it is about an inch above the marks on my crank case. Am I installing it wrong? My new push rod sits 12.5mm above the pressure plate. It’s the largest rod I could buy for the bike. I can not for the life of me figure what’s going on. |

Title: Re: Clutch arm has a ton of free play. Please help Post by verslagen1 on 09/24/20 at 20:12:23 does the primary gear and the clutch gear line up? does the oil pump gears line up? there are a couple of spacers in the back and a pin... maybe they aren't lined up correctly. there's also a bevel washer and a washer in the clutch that gave me trouble the 1st time. |
