Title: Top end gasket kit
Post by ckahleer on 09/21/20 at 16:01:35

Oil leaking from head gasket.
I'm looking for a top end gasket kit for a 2012 LS650.
I checked E-bay and Amazon, but no luck.
Is there a vender that specializes in Savage/S40 parts?

You know the odds of it being a head gasket?
Seen it declared about 50 times.
It actually was, I think, once, in 15 years,,

Probably better to ask for help deciding what the problem is,,
A description would be a good start,,

Most oil leaks are either the plug over the right front cylinder stud......or the nuts that are under the exhaust and intake ports.

Clean the bike thoroughly, dry it off....and then carefully watch to see where the oil is coming from.

Like they said, it's probably the infamous plug leak and not the head gasket.

-----------

Yes, it's called the "Local Suzuki Dealer" or an "Online OEM reseller".  Like this one: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/suzuki/motorcycle

The spare engine I bought to get parts for the top end on my 2011 S40 had a leaking head gasket...so I seen one  ;D
