Your missing the whole point of socialist ideology. Nobody has to ever take personal responsibility anymore. That's why so many are in love with it. It's all about scapegoatism. And state dependency.
Look at the 4th generational welfare dependents for an example. They have their scapegoat and they're entirely dependent on the state. Don't you wish you can live your entire life without any responsibility? If you make bad choices you can blame it on someone else and the state backs you up so you don't have to deal with the repercussions of your bad choices.
Can it get any better than that?
