I'm looking to make a couple side filler panels to put under my seat and hide the gap and electronics. It needs to be something black, that is a bit flexible, and able to be drilled.
I'm thinking some sort of plastic.
I've no idea what to look for that is solid enough to look good, and soft enough to not crack or crease.

Check out my mudflap,... it's made from heavy duty rubber floor runner sold at Ace by the running ft, or Home Depot in 4ft squares.
Fairly firm but flexible...

Try going to a good sign shop with w cnc cutter. They get pvc sheets in 1/4 - 3/4 thickness 4' x 4'. Always have scrap laying around. Drills like plastic(duh), and bends with a heat gun, or blow dryer. Check out thier dumpster. I've made a lot of stuff with that stuff.

Amazon has Black ABS sheets in a variety
of sizes, thicknesses, and textures.

ABS is rigid enough to hold it's own shape
yet somewhat flexible for ease of fitting.
It can also be formed into shape using heat.

Here's a 1 foot square piece, 1/16 inch thick

How big of a piece(s) do you need? I literally have several 36" x lots of feet long rolls of this diamond rubber floor mat taken out of a old gym. Happy to ship whatever you need for cost of shipping. PM me if interested.
