Yeah I'm not real clear on what this "defunding" is supposed to do.

If anything more funding would help weed out the garbage officers sooner and more efficiently.

Good Cops dont KNOW who the Bad cops are? And, KNowing that,, why arent they being driven out?
And exactly how am I supposed to deal with a city, under the control of lefties for Forty Fukkin YEARS, still sufferin from Deep Rooted racism>/? Im supposed to believe they havent had time to fix it?

Good cops aren't supposed to drive bad cops out. Beyond reporting there is nothing more they should be expected to do.

Money would be better spent in screening, training and 3rd party auditing. Problem is it would take a lot of money, and time. But on the other side taking money away will only lower salaries, screening and training programs, thus opening the door to lower quality staff.

Taking away money from cops will result in the Robocop Police Strike becoming a reality. Or OCP takeover of the police force by a real-life multinational bent on profit margins.

I don’t think so. Garbage cops thrive on the military style brotherhood in the police department. I think a number of good cops, naturally smart, ambitious and who want to help people, will leave because of lower pay and benefits. There’s a reason why smart people become doctors and not cops.

I agree with that. But another part of the problem, that has been going on for at least the past 20 years, is the systematic lowering of standards, both physical,and mental, for new hires in the name of accommodating minorities and women.

There are folks in the city police department here, and to a somewhat lesser extent,in the fire service, who wouldn't have qualified for those jobs years ago. Most wouldn't have been hired to begin with, and they certainly wouldn't have successfully completed the training.

I have an idea - put women only on the police force, and don't give em real guns.
Better yet, don't even give them cars. Bicycles. It worked great on that Pacific Blue TV show. There was the blonde and the Brunette and they were policing awesomely. Yea, lets have that.

Nooooo I got a better Idea. Lets make this cop work as per piece work, like $1 for every criminal you catch, no gun, car or even bicycle. In fact you're pretty much on your own. Find a criminal catch him and get him convicted per the complete law and lawyers and judges. If you gotta lawyer up to convict - well its your cost there.
Then if you have the guy behind bars, you can apply for the $1.

Lets turn cop work into work that "americans don't want to do". So we can have illegals as cops.

Obviously ICE has to be on every legit resident's speed dial. As cop is stopping you, call ICE -that way you can get the criminal while getting illegals out as well.

Obviously ICE needs to be next for being illegal cos that's work americans wont do.

The whole freaking reason there is even work that people don't want to do is cos there's people who want to do those under some retarded A$$ pretense.
