Title: Mounting dimensions of the fuel petcock
Post by kamelryttarn on 04/30/20 at 07:23:05

Does anyone have the dimensions of the petcock? The reason I ask is that I wonder if this universal adapter will fit

I dont know if it will fit, but it sure looks close,,
BUT
IF you go with something like that, you will be OUtta Gas, with No reserve when the tank runs out. No petcock is kinda cool, but, no reserve looks like a total bummer to me

Don't know if this is useful or precise enough but I happened to have replaced the petcock on my bike a few months ago and have the stock one lying around so I took these pictures.

The site shows  that it's Not compatible to any year Savage.

The eye-to-eye distance of the mounting bolts is a little over 34mm

Our tank is compatible with a raptor 660 petcock and probably others as well.

check the part number for the raptorcock and compare with one that's listed.

The above photo is the Raptor unit. I also have Yamaha Banshee and Grizzly petcocks that work as well. The difference is the exit port.

For those looking for an extremely simple solution this might fit based upon the measurement provided by Gary. I have not tried it myself and the Raptor petcock is most likely a better solution but this may be an option if you can not find a raptor petcock
