Title: Re: ryca battery Post by Matchless G11 on 04/06/20 at 13:19:01 Depending how it was done, It may be a pain to access them. I have a Ryca with a Benelli copy tank, built by some one else. The nuts holding the tank and seat on (together) are difficult to get to. I had to modify the seat mounting bracket so I could get better access to them. |

They are towards the rear of the tank, almost UNDER the tank. You'll have to remove both side panels and use an open wrench and make small turns to remove them. It sucks. That's why I suggested just the left side cover. If you simply need to charge the battery, the left side cover is the easiest access. If you need to swap out the battery, you'll need to remove the seat.[/quote] |

Title: Re: ryca battery Post by suzi-q on 04/07/20 at 09:33:20 are the side covers stuck on with tape? |
Title: Re: ryca battery Post by Gary_in_NJ on 04/07/20 at 09:48:59 No, each has two fasteners; a thumb screw below the battery box and a thumb screw on the face of the battery box facing the carb. |
